Make a Gift to the Annual Fund

$25.00 provides 14 nutritious meals for one person

"Raise the Dough" with an Automatic Monthly Donation
Your monthly donation to our Raise the Dough program is an easy way to make a regular, recurring gift to MANNA – and it's 100% tax deductible. The date you sign-up will be the date on which we process your contribution, which is done online by credit card. Simply check "Enroll me in Raise the Dough" on the donation form and follow the steps.

Add a Tribute Tile to our Wall of Honor
Two special collections of beautiful ceramic tiles are growing at MANNA, one on the walls of our kitchen and production area and the other on the Wall of Honor in our administrative offices. All the proceeds go into our Annual Operating Fund. Please contact Richard Keaveney at (215)496-2662 x101 to make a tile donation.
Wall of Honor tiles are hand-painted and are available in three sizes. Add your name or the the name of someone special to the wall.The 9” by 9” tile costs $5,000 and provides 2,628 meals.
The 9” by 4-1/2” tile costs $2,500 and provides 1,434 meals.
The 4” by 4” tile costs $1,000 and provides 574 meals.
Personalized kitchen tiles measure 3” by 6” and can be imprinted with with up to 21 characters on two lines of text. Add your name or the name of someone special to the ribbons of tile that greet our volunteers and visitors in our kitchen each day. Each costs $250 and provides 143 nutritious meals.
Honor the Legacy of Someone Special
Make a gift to MANNA to honor the memory of a beloved family member, friend or valued colleague. Your gift will be part of that person's legacy and it will provide life-sustaining nourishment for MANNA clients. We will send a special note to the deceased's family to let them know of your gift, and you will get a letter with our thanks and our acknowledgement for your tax purposes. Donate now.
Celebrate a Special Person or Event
Is someone you love celebrating a milestone? A contribution to MANNA on the occasion of someone's birthday, marriage, graduation, bar or bat mitzvah, confirmation or just about any special occasion is a very special way to honor him or her. We will send a note to the honoree and one to you with our thanks and acknowledgement for tax purposes. Donate now.
Celebrating a special occasion of your own? Make it a party for a good cause – MANNA! Ask your guests to make contributions to MANNA in lieu of gifts. We'll send each of them a special note of thanks and we'll let you know who contributed, too. You and your guests will take pride in knowing that your celebration is making a life-sustaining difference by improving health and delivering nourishment (and you won't have to worry about what to do with that awful lamp from Aunt Edna!). Make a Gift of Stock, a Bequest, or other Planned Gift
For nearly 20 years, MANNA has improved health and delivered nourishment to individuals and families living with cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses that place them at acute nutritional risk. Five days each week, MANNA chefs, volunteers and staff prepare, package and deliver medically appropriate meals. The need will not go away and, with your planned gift to MANNA, you will establish a legacy of health and nourishment for coming generations.
MANNA will soon have a formal planned giving program in place, but even now you have a few options that will sustain MANNA and may provide tax benefits to you.
- Make a bequest to MANNA in your will, in the form of a specific gift of cash or property or a portion of the remainder of your estate.
- Name MANNA as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or IRA.
- Name MANNA as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
- Make a gift of appreciated stock to MANNA.
In the future, we hope to be able to discuss other opportunities with you – gifts of real estate, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and so on. These and other planned giving mechanisms may allow you to make gifts to MANNA while obtaining tax and other benefits.
