MANNA provides nutritional and emotional nourishment free of charge.
 
At MANNA, we take care to make sure our meals are healthy for our clients.  Our menus rely on important nutrition guidelines from the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, and other nutrition experts.  We make sure our meals taste great and meet each of our clients special nutritional needs. Clients on MANNA's meal program receive a delivery of 7 days worth of food. Three meals are provided for each day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner frozen entrées).

  • Meals are delivered once each week between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
  • MANNA dietitians and chefs oversee the care and preparation that goes into every meal.
  • Volunteers and staff deliver these meals and bring companionship into the homes of men, women and children living with life-threatening illnesses.
  • MANNA is dedicated to providing high-quality, food prepared from the freshest ingredients that is visually appealing. Menu items range from heart healthy comfort foods such as turkey meatloaf to sophisticated dishes such as teriyaki salmon with ginger.
MANNA clients are also lovingly presented with birthday cakes on their birthdays and a bountiful dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
 
All MANNA nutritionists are credentialed by the American Dietetic Association. MANNA's Registered Dietitians perform individual Medical Nutrition Therapy sessions at MANNA, and 9 medical offices around the area.
 
MANNA is committed to promoting wellness through nutrition education for disease management in group education sessions both at MANNA and at partner organizations.
 
MANNA currently serves clients in the greater Philadelphia region and Southern New Jersey region. The professionalism of MANNA’s facilities, staff and volunteers directly translates into the improved quality of life for the clients MANNA serves.
 
Sometimes even family members living in the same house are not aware of the client's medical condition. We must preserve the highest respect for our client’s power over who does and does not know of their medical status.

MANNA drivers never disclose any reference to any disease or medical condition while delivering. We respect the privacy of our clients by not mentioning their names or addresses to anyone outside the MANNA community. MANNA has a dedicated fax machine (215-496-9102) that is used exclusively to receive client information.
