Volunteer Appreciation Cookout 2009
About 200 guests enjoyed a community cookout and danced the night away at MANNA on September 17, 2009. On Thursday, September 17, MANNA staff celebrated the work of our volunteers at the 2009 Volunteer Appreciation Cookout at The Steven Korman Nutrition Center. The cookout complete with burgers, cotton candy, and a DJ. The the result was an atmosphere of a laid-back, backyard gathering with friends and family. The annual Volunteer Appreciation event is a way for MANNA staff to show thanks for the dedication and effort of its volunteers!
This party was made possible by the donations and generosity ofthe members of the Philadelphia, Delaware and South Jersey chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), who DONATED our DJ entertainment, photographs, decorations, tables, chairs, table cloths. Everything to make it a STELLAR event!
