Groups
Throughout the year, MANNA hosts volunteer groups from schools, colleges, religious organizations, and social and academic clubs. Corporate teams come to MANNA on a weekly basis as well. Corporate-sponsored volunteers come from a wide variety of local businesses such as PECO, Independence Blue Cross and the Pew Charitable Trust.
Please email or call 215-496-2662 x120 to get your group scheduled on the calendar. We have many dates available, but need to carefully schedule our groups, as the kitchen can only accommodate one group at a time. Some shifts fill up quickly. We want to ensure that there is enough work for everyone: therefore we limit group participants to 5-10 people, including a group leader.
Once you are on the schedule, please complete the Group Volunteer Application. The application needs to be completed by the group leader and all group members. Once the applications are completed, you are confirmed.
Volunteer Groups are scheduled Monday through Friday
Monday - Thursday Shifts:
- 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (except Friday)
Friday Shifts:
- 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Please reserve early to ensure desired shift. MANNA can be flexible about start times.
