Official Dress Code

 

Official Volunteer and Kitchen Dress Code
In Effect Year Round (Even During the Summer)

 

 
Safety is Our Priority
The Health Department requires a dress code while volunteering in the MANNA kitchen. It is important that all volunteers follow this code for their own safety and for the health of our clients.
 
 
 
Shirts with Sleeves
No sleeveless shirts or tank tops.
 
Full length pants
No shorts or skirts.
 
Close-Toe Flat Shoes
No heels, sandals, flip flops,
or open toed shoes.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Hair/Head Covered
Hair/beard nets are provided and must be worn at all times.
 
Apron
Disposable aprons are provided and must be worn at all times.
 
Gloves
Disposable gloves are provided and must be worn at all times.

 

 

Good Sanitary Practices are Required

 

 
Hands must be washed with soap and warm water:
         • before starting a shift        
        • between tasks or projects
        • after breaks or leaving the kitchen                   
        • after using the restroom
Aprons and gloves must be replaced after breaks or using the restroom.

We appreciate your help. State law requires that all volunteers abide by the dress code. If you do not have the proper attire, you will not be able to volunteer.
