MANNA loves our Volunteers!
MANNA relies on individuals like you to assist us in the kitchen chopping vegetables, cooking and baking, prepping and packaging, delivering meals to clients, and providing assistance with our events, community outreach, and general office work.
Volunteering with MANNA is easy as 1, 2, 3:
Step 1: Complete an application.
Step 2: Attend an orientation. Orientations are held twice a month at MANNA’s office at 420 North 20th Street in Philadelphia. Orientations last approximately 45 minutes.
The next available orientations are:
Monday, October 15, 2018 @ 5:30 p.m.
Monday, October 22, 2018 @ 12 p.m.
Step 3: Schedule volunteer shifts using our online calendar.

We celebrate Thanksgiving Day with our clients and their families by doing what we do best – delivering more than 4,000 traditional, homemade Thanksgiving meals. It is truly a day of thanks in the MANNA kitchen as more than 500 volunteers, staff, and dignitaries come together to prepare, package, and home-deliver the client Thanksgiving meals. Thanksgiving Day is MANNA at our best! Find out how you can make a difference this Thanksgiving by contacting our Volunteer Team at 215.496.2662 ext. 3 or at Volunteers@mannapa.org.

At PECO, our commitment to customers goes beyond providing safe, reliable, affordable and clean energy. Keeping the lights on and gas flowing is what we do but it’s not who we are. We believe by giving back and working together we can create stronger, better communities. Last year, we contributed nearly $6 million to support hundreds of local organizations and volunteered more than 20,000 hours in support of community projects and initiatives.
